"Josh takes Friends of NRA everywhere he goes. Josh participates in shooting activities at multiple local ranges, and encourages them to participate in Friends of NRA activities as well as apply for grants from The NRA Foundation.
Josh leads by example. He doesn't ask anything from any other volunteer that he isn't willing to do himself. Josh knows that a majority of Idaho Friends of NRA fundraising comes from large sponsors and donors. Josh has fostered incredible levels of community support, specifically from business owners. Josh motivates fellow volunteers to use their personal contacts in the community to further improve Friends of NRA support. The success of the Camas Prairie Friends of NRA reflects the success of this, over 3/4 of the event attendee list is made up of Table Sponsors. As Chair, Josh took the Camas Prairie Friends of NRA event from a 5 year average of $31,000 NET to over $125,000 NET in 2021!
Josh has been successful in getting multiple ranges, youth groups, and training organizations to apply for NRA Foundation grants. Josh attended the Idaho Friends of NRA Workshop and was the Camas Prairie State Fund Delegate in January. In addition to chairing the Camas Prairie Friends of NRA event, Josh attended and assisted at multiple Idaho Friends of NRA events including Treasure Valley Friends of NRA, Weiser Valley Friends of NRA, Salmon River Friends of NRA, and the Idaho State Fall Firearms Festival.
Josh is an integral part of the Idaho Friends of NRA. As a Field Representative, I rely on trusted volunteers for honest opinions on ideas. Josh is one of my most trusted volunteers that I call when I want feedback on new concepts for games, raffles, and other fundraising ideas."
