The NRA Youth Education Summit has been helping students discover their potential since 1996. Each year, selected high school sophomores and juniors participate in a week-long leadership program in Washington, D.C., gaining hands-on experience in civic engagement, understanding the Constitution, and building skills that last a lifetime.

The NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.) is a leadership and scholarship program aimed at high school sophomores and juniors who are interested in learning about American government, the Constitution, and the importance of civic engagement. Since its founding in 1996, Y.E.S. has helped shape the future leaders of America through a combination of educational experiences and scholarship opportunities. Applications for the 2026 Youth Education Summit are now open. Eligible applicants are current high school sophomores and juniors. The application deadline is January 19th, 2026.
