"David is 100% in on Friends of NRA and shooting sports programs. During the banquet, he is very active with the attendees and everyone knows how passionate he is about the program. David has a small committee and puts a lot of the work on himself and his family to get it done. He has his Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) team help out at the banquet so everyone can see where their money is going. David's event is full of donations from small to big items. There is actually so many, it's hard to count. Last year, David had over 50 items on the silent auction and over 25 white buckets for the general raffle, which were all donated, and over half of the live auction was donated.
In addition, David is head of his local YHEC team and has done that for years, he also helps out with the State and National YHEC competitions. David is also the Chairman for the Friends of NRA State Fund Committee in Arkansas, in which he spends a lot of time going through grants and then contacting some of the grantees if there is a question to be asked. David is a person if you ever needed anything, all you had to do is call and ask, and if it's possible, he will get it done."
