Thanks to Friends of NRA fundraising, NRA Foundation grants have made a meaningful impact on shooting sports communities nationwide. These grants provide essential support and resources for programs like police training, youth shooting teams, Eddie Eagle, Women on Target, the NRA Youth Education Summit, and many more.
The results are life-changing, thousands of people across the country have benefited, and hundreds have been introduced to the shooting sports for the first time thanks to these grants.

Clarion County Youth Field Day located in Pennsylvania.
Hosted by Clarion County Sportsmen for Youth, participants ages 8–12 got hands-on experience with trout fishing, archery, boating & firearm safety, wild game tasting, and shooting sports including shotguns, .22 rifles, and muzzleloaders.
Thanks to fundraising efforts by Pennsylvania Friends of NRA, The NRA Foundation proudly awarded $3,000 to support this incredible event—promoting safety, education, and outdoor fun for all!
Hilo High Vikings Air Riflery Team located in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Hilo High Vikings Air Riflery Team, recipients of a $15,000 NRA Foundation grant for new equipment—including air rifles, scopes, and stands.
“This grant not only enhances the safety and effectiveness of our training but also provides our team with the tools necessary to compete at a higher level,” Hilo High Principal Jasmine Okada said. “The new equipment will allow our students to develop their skills more precisely and confidently while fostering discipline, responsibility, and sportsmanship.”
Ketchikan Junior Shotgun League Inc. (KJSL) located in Alaska.
The NRA Foundation proudly awarded $13,640 to Ketchikan Junior Shotgun League to support travel expenses and provide shotgun shells for both the AK State and Southeast Tournaments. Over four days, teams competed at both Birchwood Shooting Park and AKYESS’s 7th Summit Shooting Park — and KJSL brought home the win in the HAA Combined Novice/Intermediate Division with a team score of 903 (based on the top three athlete scores).
Terrebonne Parish Junior Deputy YHEC Shooting Team located in Louisiana.
The Terrebonne Parish Junior Deputy YHEC Shooting Team from Houma, LA received $6,200 from The NRA Foundation.
The team recently hosted the 2025 Louisiana State YHEC Competition at the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Rifle Range and had 40 youth athletes training as the Louisiana Bayou Bandits to compete at NRA Nationals in Arkansas in July.
Crawford County Sportsmen’s Council located in Pennsylvania.

Marathon High School Trap Team located in New York.
The Marathon High School Trap Team in New York received support from Friends of NRA and The NRA Foundation, 25 flats of 12-gauge shells valued at over $2,400 which helped power a successful spring season.

The Texas Trap and Skeet Team at the University of Texas at Austin.
Thanks to support from Friends of NRA and The NRA Foundation, the Texas Trap and Skeet Team at the University of Texas at Austin continues to expand its passion for shooting sports and strengthen its community involvement. This year’s grant provided much-needed ammunition amid rising costs, helping the team complete their season strong and welcome new students to the sport.

The Collingsworth County 4-H Shooting Sports located in Texas.
The Collingsworth County 4-H Shooting Sports club received significant support from The NRA Foundation, including a $2,300 merchandise grant and a previous grant of over $2,000. These contributions have helped the club expand its impact on local youth.
