Henry Spirit of ’76 Semiquincentennial Edition .44-40 WCF #2 of 250
Donated by: Henry Repeating Arms
To honor 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, Henry Repeating Arms presents The Spirit of ’76 Semiquincentennial Anniversary Edition, a rifle conceived as an enduring artifact worthy of our national heritage.
Limited to just 250 rifles, this is among the most refined and historically significant firearms ever produced by Henry Repeating Arms. Each is offered exclusively factory-direct, reserved for collectors who understand that true value lies in rarity, context, and craftsmanship.
Built on the revered New Original Henry platform, this rifle is a line-for-line reproduction of the 1860 patent from Benjamin Tyler Henry, save for the concession needed to adapt to the more modern .44-40 WCF cartridge that it’s chambered in. The polished blued steel octagon barrel recalls the restrained beauty of early American armsmaking. At its heart, a nickel-plated brass receiver, fully engraved and selectively adorned with 24-karat gold highlights, transforms the rifle into a stunning work of art.
With only 250 individually serialized rifles produced, The Spirit of ’76 Semiquincentennial Anniversary Edition stands at the intersection of fine art, functional craftsmanship, and national identity. It is our expression of freedom, created for those who recognize history as something to be held, safeguarded, and honored.
