"Rickey has proven to be one of the most reliable and responsible chairmen for Friends of NRA. This past year he held several committee meetings and arranged raffles prior to the banquet to make sure they had a successful outcome. He had constant communication with his members and myself regarding the venue, catering, costs and details involving the banquet. Rickey actively promoted the event on social media and with his personal contacts.
Rickey’s exemplary leadership is reflected in the largest banquet in Louisiana. Rickey set goals for his committee to reach, and when they did reach the goals, he would set them a little higher to make sure they had the biggest banquet in Louisiana. In 2022 his chapter had the largest gross to date. Rickey has already started making plans for 2023, and set his goals to be in the top 10 in the nation. His dedication of time and efforts have not gone unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.
In addition to his involvement with Friends of NRA, Rickey is a Volunteer Firefighter with the Rapids Parish Fire Dist. #6. Rickey is also actively involved with the local CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) Chapter attending meetings and assisting with their banquet."
