  • “In the role as the Chairperson, Veron has a unique ability to keep everyone on the right path and explain situations for all to understand. When placed in challenging situations he always makes the right decisions for the overall good of the program, even though it may not always be the most popular decision. Because of his vision for the future, his committee has successfully reached High Caliber Club 4 years in a row.  Veron has worked 8 gun shows this year and coordinated several other shows for volunteers to work at. He also aggressively solicits for underwriting and merchandise donations for his banquet. Veron has been instrumental in assisting five other Friends of NRA committees at their banquets by assisting in running games and setting up for the event.

Veron is also a committee member for the Calendar project and is responsible for selling nearly 1/8th of the entire raffle of 1000 calendars He went above and beyond and dressed up to play the part as one of the characters from the famous “Duck Dynasty” show series to better help in selling of tickets at the Southern Illinois Regional Event.

Veron truly understands the bigger picture and sets his sights on obtaining the very best for the overall good of the NRA Foundation. His strong devotion to the shooting sports is a leading professional quality others listen too, understand and follow. His fund raising efforts in the past, today and in the future has and will continue to make a difference in the shooting sports. Thank you Veron for your loyal dedication and support!”
