Since its inception, The NRA Foundation, Inc., has funded more than 15,000 grants totaling over $125 million, becoming America's leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. The NRA Foundation continues to expand its efforts to fund a variety of programs in communities across the nation. Through its support of local clubs, law enforcement agencies, youth organizations, hunting and conservation groups, teachers, school children and civic associations, the foundation reaches out to meet the needs of Americans everywhere.

State Fund Grants are awarded to eligible applicants for qualifying projects or activities that promote firearms and hunting safety; enhance the marksmanship skills of those participating in the shooting sports; educate the general public about firearms in their historic, technological, and artistic context; or contribute to the general well-being of the public at large.
