Eddie Eagle Program Enjoys Additional NRA Foundation Support

The Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program is happy to announce that they recently received grants from The NRA Foundation. Grants are awarded through revenue raised by the Friends of NRA for eligible educational programs.
New Friends of NRA Grants were awarded by the State Fund Committees from the following states: Mississippi ($4,000), Michigan ($5,000), and Illinois ($3,000). Additional grants were also awarded in the following states: S. California ($3,000), Nebraska ($1,000), Kansas ($2,000), Utah ($6,000), E. Pennsylvania ($2,000), Connecticut ($2,000), N. Texas ($8,000), Washington ($5,000) and S. Texas ($3,000).
The Foundation grants allow the Eddie Eagle Program to provide Eddie Eagle materials – including workbooks, DVDs, and stickers – absolutely FREE of cost to law enforcement agencies, schools and educators, day cares, hospitals, and libraries.
"Grants from the Friends of NRA are key to the success of the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program," said Eric Lipp, Manager of the Eddie Eagle Program. "Each year money from the Friends of NRA allow thousands of children nationwide to receive Eddie Eagle materials and learn Eddie's lifesaving safety message."
That message is:
